What Debatable does
Debatable is built for live argument between people: watch a round, post a motion, meet another person, speak under a clock, then read the judge's reasoning and see how the result moves the board. When the live queue is quiet or you want a solo round, you can choose a clearly labeled AI opponent that follows the same casual structure.
Round structure
- One person argues Pro and one person argues Con

- A written decision and score out of 100 for each side
AI supports the round
The AI judge writes ballots for live human rounds. Optional AI practice can route different models for the opponent and the judge when someone wants to argue without waiting for a partner.
The learning loop
Rated rounds can feed an improvement pass when the participant has permitted that data use. Transcripts and timing are used for that loop, not raw audio. The consent choice is off by default.
What kind of round does Debatable use?
Every public round is a casual 1v1. One person argues Pro, one person argues Con, both speak on the same clock, and the judge scores each side out of 100. There are no teams or tournament rulebooks.
